Ever heard of Printed Electronics technology and its benefits in terms of sustainability and self-sufficiency? Fedrigoni Self-Adhesives applied it within the innovative project“i-Label, the smart label for smart packaging”, developed in partnership with OMET, IIT, ILTI, Ferrarini & Benelli, VDGlab and funded by the European Union, the Lombardy Region and the ERDF(European Regional Development Fund).
The result is a smart label prototype with anti-tampering function that can also be applied to Large Format and Industrial projects. The static label becomes dynamic thanks to its graphics capable of changing in response to external interactions, such as the breaking of the label, or thanks to logic functions integrated into the label itself.
