The Fedrigoni Group continues to grow with the acquisition of Guarro Casas, a leading company in specialty papers for high-end publishing and luxury packaging
The Fedrigoni Group has signed an agreement with the Anglo-French multinational corporation Arjowiggins to fully take over Guarro Casas, historic Spanish company known for its strong skills in specialty papers finishing. Its headquarter is in Gelida(Barcelona), with 140 employees.
The acquisition strengthens Fedrigoni Group’s proposal in the specialty papersstrengthen business, where Guarro Casas is highly specialized, especially in creative and binding applications, in finishing with high–added value for luxury packaging, where it is known as market leader. The synergy between the two companies also foresees a future impact on Fedrigoni’s Self-Adhesives business unit, with particular reference to the premium label segment.
The high profile skills of the Spanish company in the production and finishing of special graphic papers, combined with complementary production technologies, further expand our portfolio, in an area where Fedrigoni already excels globally: this consolidates our strategy to offer customers an ever wider and more effective service.
